Today an idea suddenly popped in my head on how to make this fun headband. I was watching Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood (don't laugh...it can be very addicting on a boring Saturday afternoon :) and their new little baby, Stella, was wearing this huge flower headband. I thought it was pretty cute, but forgot about it until the other day when I picked up some beautiful flowers originally intended for making cards or scrapbooking. I saw the flowers, remembered the show, and thought "I can make that." So I grabbed some old black tights that I have not worn in years and got to work. Ten minutes later, literally, I was done and Riley had a cute flower headband on that bald little head of hers. And might I say, she looked much cuter than Stella. Monday, August 25, 2008

Pretty darn cute! And the headband, too. :) Grams
Cute! I have some big fabric flowers I can send you if you want them. Oooo, and a bunch of headbands. I'll send you a little package this week:)
You are so creative. I hate to sew, but you come up with more creative things for your girls than anyone I know. You do need a boutique or do you sell on Etsy?
Jenni - your blog has to be one of the VERY BEST - and you keep it so up to date, we are all spoiled.
Regarding the headband, I agree with all the other comments.

So cute! I love it! ~Kel
ohhh so cute!
Ha! I love that idea...to use old black stockings. I've got some of those hanging around! I'll have to try your idea sometime. How did you fix the flower to the headband? Hot glue?
I knew your sister back in college and just re-connected via face book. She told me to check out your blog. :)
