Last Wednesday, Avery's class took a trip to the pumpkin patch. We started off in the classroom so the kids could give us a zoo phonics demonstration. Very cute! Avery is doing so well with all her letters and sounds. We then headed off to the patch which was just a short walk away. First there was a walk through the spooky woods. Avery was very proud of herself that she was not scared at all. She is really into being spooky this year. Then each kid got to pick out their own pumpkin. Next there was a short story time followed by class pics.Avery is really loving her class. She has made good friends and always comes home so happy. It was the best decision to switch her to this morning pre-k class.

What fun! Good job, Avery!
So fun.
And I know the woman who started Zoo-phonics. I actually used to work for her. I am so glad to see schools using it!
Miss you guys!
Oh wow! I didn't know you switched her to a morning class. I'll have to hear the story behind that...
