when Zoë was about her age I took her to a salon and asked if someone would teach me how to french braid her hair. one of the stylists obliged and altho I was ready to pay her declined. I felt so lame not knowing how but was grateful for the lesson. I got lots of practice that summer braiding Zoë's and Holly's hair for swim lessons.
