In overwhelming times, I hold tight to my family and thank Jesus that He is holding us tight in His hands as well. I do not know how so many navigate the roads of sadness, tragedy, loss, and uncertain circumstances without knowing the love of Jesus Christ. How does one survive the emotions?
We have been in the depths with Riley and our battle will continue. So, we will hold tight to Jesus.
We are about to enter into a life stage in which we will rely on loans to keep us afloat. So, we will hold tight to Jesus. I am so thankful for a husband that is supportive and encouraging in my dream to finally become a nurse.
More situations will rise in which we are challenged spiritually, emotionally, financially....we will hold tight to Jesus.
Right now, in this moment, we are just living life. We are enjoying life. There is not too much stress, summer is fast approaching and it holds plans of camping, Disney, swim lessons, Hawaii, a family reunion, time with my sister, and lots of quality time as a family of four. We still hold tight to Jesus.
Because in an instant, life can throw you a curve ball.
I have been following this blog for years now and am journeying along with this incredible family as their 7 year old daughter, Kate, fights brain cancer.
Everything you own and love can be lost. This blog post by a friend of a friend brought me to tears.
Your beautiful, vibrant, healthy child, can be diagnosed with Leukemia. The little boy I watch, Jacob, his 9 year old cousin was diagnosed on Tuesday.
A devastating tornado can rip through towns and leave nothing you held precious behind.
Pray with me.
So, we hold tight to Jesus in the awesome and the yuck because we want others to do the same. We want others to see the constant in our lives.
We know that even in the fire, there can be good. There can and will be healing. And when you come out of the fire and are back to living the day to day life... it is that much sweeter because you can see how Jesus carried you.
